“ Went by during the cold snap on a Friday around lunch & man was I impressed. Clearly a restaurant that's in a very old building, the finish out was very fitting for a western bistro/steakhouse. The bartender was very friendly and super attentive throughout the meal. My wife got the lunch burger and I opted for the smoked prime rib with mashed potatoes. Both were EXCELLENT, perfectly cooked and delicious. Will definitely be back! ”

Everyone who was involved in our evening was very helpful, friendly and professional! The head chef Tom Felt's came to our table and it turned out that he is from our hometown and on top of that we graduated from the same college! You will not be disappointed and it is definitely an experience you will always remember! I tried kangaroo, rattlesnake and rabbit! My other half had the Montana Bison Ribeye, Fried Smoked Gouda Gnocchi, LD Hollandaise and I had the Roasted Garlic Stuffed Beef Tenderloin, Western Plaid Hash, Grilled Asparagus. We also split the Diver Scallops, Fall Veggies, Risotto, Tobiko Caviar, Beurre Blanc. And for dessert our table split the following TUACA-CAPPUCCINO FLAN Chocolate Espresso Beans WARM ANCHO CHILE CHOCOLATE CAKE Vanilla Ice Cream, Smoked Almond Brittle And Strawberry Cheesecake. “ Our dining experience was nothing short of incredible! Our server Joseph was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. Our choice to celebrate our Ten Year Wedding Anniversary at Lonesome Dove was totally on target! The food was incredible! We split the 16 ounce tenderloin... one word .... WOW! “ My husband and I came here for the first time for Valentines Day dinner. It was quite the experience haha I've always heard amazing things about the restaurant so we were excited to give it a try! Let me start off by prefacing my review that this restaurant is like a speciality type of place and the meats/seafood that they offer are unique. This is reflective in their pricing. I ordered a Beez on Thyme drink and it was good! Similar to a bees knees type of drink. Appetizers: we ordered the lobster "hushpuppies" and the hamachi tostadas. They were both very good but the tostadas were a fave that left you with wanting more. Entrees: I ordered the roasted garlic stuff beef tenderloin and my husband got the Rocky Mountain Elk Loin. Both had great flavor and were seasoned well. We also got an order of brussel sprouts too. These were just okay for me, not the best ones that I've had. Dessert: We ordered the ancho chili chocolate cake and this was delicious. Rich and lots of depth with each bite! Something I would want to order again and again. Overall, we enjoyed our experience. If you're looking for something that is unique and a one of a kind type of menu in Fort Worth, this is your place! ”
